Solomon Schechter School of Manhattan

Welcome to Schechter Manhattan!

Thank you for your interest in the Solomon Schechter School of Manhattan.  It’s such an exciting time to be part of the Schechter Manhattan community:  Our new campus, located at 805 Columbus Avenue, is almost finished and will be ready for occupancy this Fall!  Click here to take a virtual tour of our new home, view photos, check out the floor plan and more.

Schechter Manhattan is passionately dedicated to rigorous academic learning through active engagement.  In every subject area, students learn to think and act as real practitioners do: to write like writers, do math like mathematicians, produce art like artists, and so on.  Our faculty and staff are committed to giving personalized attention to each student, to differentiated learning within each classroom, and to maintaining small class sizes with two head teachers in every class - each fluent in both Hebrew and English.  Children develop a love and appreciation of learning in an environment that encourages exploration, discovery and expression.

Join me and experience the Schechter Manhattan difference firsthand with a visit to our school.  I invite you to take a campus tour, attend our Fall Open House or sign-up for a living room chat.

I looking forward to getting to know you and your family and hope to share more about our growing community.  If I can be of any assistance throughout the application process, please contact me by phone or email.
