As is the case in all independent schools, Tuition payments do not cover the costs to educate each child. Even full-paying families receive subsidies to close the gap between actual costs and tuition payments per child. That amount is approximately $2,500 per full-paying child for the 2012-2013 school year.
In addition, a significant portion of our families receive financial aid, which means an even large gap between expenses and income per student. In fact, tuition only covers about 70% of the school's $3.6 million operating budget, and so our school is dependent on strong community support from parents, grandparents, alumni and community friends to make our work possible.
