Community Support
Schechter Manhattan receives support from many corners of the Jewish community.
Our Rabbinic Advisory Council - made up of Rabbis of local Conservative Synagogues - guides us with their insight and consideration when questions arise.
Our Education Committee is made up of local educators - parents, curriculum experts from neighboring institutions such as the Davidson School of Education and Teachers College, and others.
We also participate in initiatives started by community organizations such as UJA-Federation of New York, the Avi Chai Foundation, and the Board of Jewish Education of New York.
We are proud and gratified by the ways in which our community has embraced our school both educationally and financially. We are always looking for new community members to get involved. Questions? Contact Uri Cohen at 646-472-5395, or uricohen@sssm.org.
